I'm going to be fly fishing pike next week, I'm not sure what steel leader is recommended to tie on.

Just use a braided line as your leader. I use Power Pro sometimes while fly fishing. I'm not even sure that a steel leader would work.

Thanks, that's a great idea, never even thought of that. I'm definitely going to try that

I've even found that the braid has less "memory" than other leaders and is is easier to cast than other level leaders.
