report on lil lake in barrie was good on sunday.. just hitting pike all morning and sunfish till noonish buddy hit a 4 lbs bass....

hittin pike mostly on minnows but last pike got on a dollar store slurrpyes... lost it though cut my line off just before we landed it onto the pontoon :( ... 22"

very tru but the lake was suffering from a drought.. it was down four feet!! coundnt get to some nice holes...

I'm pretty sure its hitting ontario pretty hard. Dying for some real rain! Was suppose to have some around toronto today but nothing! Let us pray ;)

No more rain. My basement was flooded with a foot of water on Sunday and the power was out for 13 hours. I hope the Kawarthas gets all my rain, I'd rather have brown lawns, they are so pretty..........lol.

Another popular lure for pike in that lake are spinners: Mepps with a feather are killers.

i was thinkin about it but there was just too much heavy cover... buddy of mine tried it and all he got was heavy weeds.. last year was good used a black fury mepps

wow, that looks like Weedless Heaven. Makes me wanna cast an old school Johnson Silver Minnow with a yellow twister slid onto the hook. Pike eat em up!

Sounds like a fun day, but of course, pike are always fun! I'm up that way often but I've never fished Little Lake, what is the access point for shore fishing?

i dont think there is any shore fishing there except from to docks... but u try renting a boat 85 for the whole day or pontoon 105 on the weekends.. cheaper durning weekdays. cedarpark campgrounds or st. lawrence park check them out..

Sounds like a fun day, but of course, pike are always fun! I'm up that way often but I've never fished Little Lake, what is the access point for shore fishing?
