I am going fishing on Lake Erie tomorrow and when I get back I will give you a fishing report. Our schedule is to fish for Perch Friday afternoon and evening. Fish for Bows and Eyes all day Saturday and fish for Bows and Eyes half of the day Sunday. I will try and get the report up as soon as possible when I get back with hopefully some pictures.
Wish me luck and best of luck to you for your weekend fishing adventures.

Ok well we did not get as much fishing in as we planned or wanted.
Friday: We did not go out perch fishing we think that with the strong winds it pushed the bait fish into deeper water which took the perch with them.
Saturday: We got up and were at the dock at 630 ish. The wind had completely died off. By lunch we had 7 Walleye (1 massive one) and 1 Rainbow. We packed it in at 12, the sonar was picking up a ton of fish at the bottom but they we not bitting. We were catching a lot of Silver Bass and Sheephead.
Sunday: We did not go out because of a family sickness which was to bad because the water was just like glass.
Overall the weekend was ok, to bad we what to pack it in so soon. Hope this helps a little.

still sounds like you did well despite the disruptions. How many silver bass did you catch, on what, and what size? I miss silver bass, before the zebra mussel took hold with all its effects, my lord we would catch many in a day in Niagara. I am curious how you did with them.
We caught probably 12 to18 silver bass I can't really remember. We caught them on any thing from dipsy divers, down riggers and the lead core lines. Any colour of spoon would get them to bite. I've never caught silver bass before or tried to so I don't know what a good size silver bass is but they were the size of a nice large or small mouth bass. Good amount of girth and length on them.
