the morning was loaded with sunfish and a few SMB nothing to special .... but what was nice to see is that we could never get hits from using spinners and lures much here ..... only worm action really ... SMB LMB sunfish perch blue gill and im guessing carp ( this one was about 4 ft long) crusing around.... we almost shat ourselves LOL and yes ... pike too
nothing special for pics .... but i figured any pics are better then NO pics right? and since this is my first post about a report ... i figured i give a good amout of info for the guys to read and view ......
What was not Impressive was the state of the are ..... Ive been to this place now about 4 or 5 times and this by far was a disaster ... looks like this place is in need of some serious garbage cans or something .... probably wouldnt help much i bet ..... pictures doesnt really show all that was there of course but u can get the just of it
onto the fish
Evening fishing with a ghost style spinner was very good and suprised me by the size that was trying to smash this thing !
The Late Evening or Night fishing was where i was impressed ..... i havent had much luck when it came to top water ...... but last night really changed that ......

Too bad about the garbage eh, people are pigs. Main reason why so many great shore fishing spots get shut down

as for the garbage: Some people are just LAZY STUPID PIGS! The effort to carry a plastic bag and bring out your garbage ... is minimal.
Lead by example: pick up, be nice ...
Dont "worry too much" about the idiots - the world ultimately has a place for them.
Nice fishermen hang around with NICE FISHERMEN and IDIOTS either hang with IDIOTS or end up ALONE.

The mini-king strikes again! If you ever hit any of the GTA ponds, that lure will work well
Thanks for the report and welcome aboard!

Openfire, earlier this year I was reading the original OFF forum, the old proboards one, and it inspired me to check my local ponds. I found bass!
That was a great project you guys had going, what happened to it (the ponds project)?

Well, after the proboards, we moved to this domain and kept the project going and expanded it into what became known generically as the "reports section".
After a couple of years we upgraded the forum to new software, basically to what you see now. To make a long story short, at the time that the forum was being upgraded to the current version, the reports sections (pond project) was the last section that was to be added. I was working on a few modifications to incorporate the old reports section into the board to help automate and streamline the reports and integrate them into a mapping system. I had to temporarily put that project on hold at the time as work was pulling me away and not affording me the time necessary to complete the integration. In other words, it's been on hold since the latest board upgrade...
I still have the old reports section with all of the reports intact - Yes, I will be re-adding the reports section... I'm just trying to figure out the best way to do it in 2012 and beyond.
I'll have an update when I know more.

I drive a straight truck around lower Ontario and just recently picked up a rapella rod n reel from ctc made a mount for it above my head to keep it outta the way. An when I see a nice river. I hit it up. But I don't think makin a post about all the places I go because I'm only there for a few casts. Can't say for sure if there's fish or if I was just in the wrong spot wrong time words thing. Today I hit up the nith river at the grand river connection point. Water was hella merky No bites but I'm sure if I spent more time and also more time reading the land and water in the area. I could have maybe found a prosperous spot. When I do find one. In city or not. I'll post it up

He is in sales, but often has to go either PICK UP or DROP off the inventory (Buses).
He does EXACTLY what you do - Carries his equipment.
Never LEAVE HOME without it!
