Unfortunately, they have been devasted in recent years.... (So I no longer use them) and the fact there are great alternatives.

But about 20 years ago, putting on a leapard Frog (live bait) was a killer.

Half the time as soon as the Frog hit the water, BAM!

Pike, Bass, Catfish

On the Artificials, I still like to put a 1/4 piece of worm on the back treble.
Cant hurt.

How the hell do you hook a frog and keep it alive? Sounds more complicated then it is worth.

Or thru the back thigh so it can swim injured and still breath. But Like Blair said the numbers have been devastated most likely due to air pollution or the endocrine disruptor chemicals that industry and the public dumps in the waters. 20 years ago I tried frogs but won't now due to their low numbers, I'd rather use artificial.

Trenton used to have tons of mud puppies (salamaders), they would come out at night and I used to catch and release about 30-40 each night. Now they seem to be totally gone, maybe due to gobies, who knows.

Double bladed buzz bait and walking the dog with the Rebel topwater are what U have done my best with.

Remember the kids in need: Compassion, Samaritans Purse, World Vision

The big question: Mark 8:29 Jesus asked "Who do you say I am?"

Books by ex-atheists to help with the question:
Lee Strobel - The Case for Christ,
Josh McDowell - The Unshakable Truth ,
Alister McGrath - The Twilight of Atheism
Peter Hitchens - The Rage Against God: How Atheism Led Me to Faith

You mean: How long before they actually GET RID of BURKE?

Same ole, same ole ....

"Were building", Blah..... blah...blah blah.

Their saviour is turning out to be more of a waste of time.

My opinion

Obviously became disgusted 30+ years ago.
Greatess MARKET for HOCKEY in the world, They have loyal (Crazy) fan support, Tons of money.... and can't even make the plaffoffs.

TOTAL DISGRACE

Last ten years the "Talk" is just to get the 8th spot (Real words spoken from a team looking to win a championship)

Forty years without making the playoffs and yet people still believe in them and watch them. Any fisherman that couldn't land a fish in forty years would have the sense to pack it in.

Just noticed that the Skitter Popper makes a red/white Popper, I have an original Hula Popper in the red/white, not sure if they Arbogast still make the red/white, but I've had this one for 30 years.
Recently I went on a spending spree and bought an additional 3 Hula Poppers so I have enough for the whole family, but the colors available were black, perch and frog.

Geeber:

Apparently they don't make the Red & White anymore. I still have 2 of them though. Well Worrn and on at least their Third Skirts.

I sometimes use a "Stinger Hook" with them. Usually the "Northland Slip On" one at 3 for $2.19. Or the "Eagle Claw" at 4 for $4.99

Mine are the 1-3/4" size. I noticed on Bass Pro they have a 2-1/4" one. They are both $6.29 and only in the colours you've mentioned. . As below in the Pic.

Rick

PLEASE! Let's leave Religion out of these Posts. I belong to a "Woodworking" Forum of some 40,000 Members.

Political and Religous Discussions on there got TOTALLY out of hand and Very Nasty at times! They have now Banned any and all discussion on these 2 Topics.

Perhaps they should do the same on here and forget the "Freedom Of Speech" scenario. It doesn't fly!

For instance: "Mosquito, your signature has it all wrong. Allah is great and no other!

YOU do NOT want to hear My Opinion on that Statement!! I'm NOT Religous but the "no other" part is VERY Disturbing to Me and a Lot of other people.

With all due Respect. Thank you.

I do not think we should turn the forums into the crusades.

In terms of the hula poppers, mine just have a white butt end where the tail used to be, I've found no difference between numbers of fish caught. In the end it all comes down to how the lure moves... whether it be a very slow, ligh approach, fast and furious, etc... Just my 0.27 pesos.

I like to start fast at the beginning, get those hot fish active and slow things down afterwards. Some guys will attach a 5 foot length of line on the back of their topwater and hang a tube jig from it... lethal mix.
