I catch Rainbow/Steelhead nearly everyday, in my backyard spring and fall every year(outside Owen Sound). You'll get the occasional Chinook, Laker or Brown, but rarely this time of year. Have heard there's the odd coho, I have never personally caught one. Out of the hundreds of Bows I've caught over the years none have looked quite like this. Maybe a hybrid? The tail really throws me off. So I'm hoping someone in this forum might help. I did not fight like a Bow either, came in like a laker (no real fight). The colors it flashed rolling at the boat reminded me of bass (not shape just color). Maybe everyone will immediately say it's a lake phase steelhead, if so great, this is just the first one I've seen that has made me question my salmonid identification skills.
