With the temperatures dipping into the single digits during the night I don't suggest sleeping in tents unless you have the proper equipment. Motels in the area are cheap, we paid 50 or 60 bucks for a night for two beds in November last year, the rates aren't set in stone especially on weekdays in the off season.

The fish way is a recent thing, typically all the bows get lifted at Denny's dam, I think a lot of fish do there spawning before the dam.

Not even close to all of the bows get lifted. The only ones that get lifted are the ones that are transported 50km upsteam to one of the 'saugeens' - pretty sure it's the beatty. I'm sure some fish spawn before the darn but I don't know the numbers there.

I can tell you that people have been leaving the river with limits the last few weeks on good weather days. Last two nights the river has been on fire. There is a ton of water and fish everywhere. It's important to put in the legwork to find the fish and get the best numbers.

They must have had a tonne of rain.. I was chatting with some friends who frequent those waters and they told me that it was still very low.. but that was at least a couple of weeks ago.

Can the date(s) be put into the subtitle of the thread?

Maybe the first post of the thread can contain a list of people who are driving and have room for carpooling, and their route, so people needing a ride can tag along more easily?

Is there going to be a fish fry at the end of it all?

And last but not least, should we all wear balloons strapped to our waders, to more easily identify ourselves on the river?

I'll be leaving from north west Toronto or north east Mississauga however you want to look at it.
If anybody wants to tag along and share gas or company or vice versa if someone wants to pick me up that works too doesn't matter to me just would rather some company and shared costs

Hey,

I got my schedule and it looks like I got to work on the 13th, so I won't be going. Chase if you could remove my name from the list, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
