I've never fished for salmon before. I got my gear ready. bought 2 j13's, glowing spinners #5, and some cleo's. It's going to be hot next week as well. So by 1st week of september, when the rain starts falling, Is it safe to say, Head out to the closest river entry or marinas?

There's a possibility of the remnants of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac moving toward the southern Great Lakes next weekend...ho boy if that happens...hasn't happened in quite a few years but if it does, go fishing and you just might find the most incredible fishin you ever seen in your life

it will have a line of snaggers bellow the no fishing signs cable attacking any fish that slips bellow the line. i was there twice last week and many people rolled up to the pool and you had to explain how it was a no fishing zone directly above and bellow. it was brutal.

It seems like will have a great amount of rain today. I have my eye on the rouge river and that's where I will be heading right after the drops.
