Spectacular report ..... Dozer !!!!
Ontarios north is unbelievable , everyone should take the time if possible to explore our great province and all it has to offer for all outdoor enthusiasts .
Sudbury and Manitoulin are great destinations too .... three of us once went to Sudbury then on to Manitoulin , hopped on the ferry and fished our way back from Tobermory to home.
Like you say Dozer , running on adrenilen and sleep deprived , until it hits you like a BRICK WALL ...
Thanks for the experience !!!!!

Nice play-by-play and great photos. Always wanted to fish there. Your comment about the concrete wall is on the money, that area looks scary.

Gods country up that way. I make it to the St Marys a few times a year. It has been quite a number of years since I had the chance to fish the Nipigon. Some nice Specks in those pics and also beautiful pics of the land and waterscape.

Don't you guys ever do that again without notifying me and taking me with you!!!
I know a few spots along the way too. Actually I know a few spots within 200 kms of the Soo. They are really good. :)

Alfie.

Here are few more pics/fish from it all.

The north shore of Lake Superior as we arrived in Nipigon.

As Dozer previously stated, brook trout everywhere around the town.

Our arsenal for the week.

A couple of specs on the average side for that area.

Also this incidental whitefish.

This was by far the best fishing trip I've been on. Highly recommend others to head out there and give it a shot. Just being out on that water with some good friends made the trip worth while. Catching fish was just a bonus.
