Yes they were fat. Full of roe, hense the reason we only kept a couple for breakfast.

WOW, those perch and walleye are HUGE! I've never caught either before, but who knows what this year holds for me!

WOW, those perch and walleye are HUGE! I've never caught either before, but who knows what this year holds for me!

The perch are from Lake Simcoe, we do this trip once or twice a spring when most other fish is closed. My buddy and I want to try Simcoe again this fall, maybe you could tag along and catch some for yourself :)

Thank you! The blue rapala is one of my favs aswell. If you plan on fishing the Conestoga River I suggest having this lure in your box. It, and a couple colour variations of slash baits.

Blue and Black ...



Simple.... yet so PERFECT!

Nado uses the the ANUS ONES (LOL) but i just keep it to Black and Blue.


Honestly, I personally do not think the SUPER REAL LIFE REPLICAS work better.

Actually, the opposite. The `plain` pattern of Black or Blue with the White underbelly has ALWAYS worked miricles for me.

It is a size 3 or 4 i cant remember exactly Rapala X-Rap, medium running, suspending slash bait. This colour a must have. They just came out with an Olive Green back witch looks pretty, and has caught me a few fish aswell
