Carp are a FANTASTIC (Yet elusive and difficult) fish to catch.

Awesome here in the GTA for abundance and SIZE. Total Reel Spoolers ... Year round as well!

I have great luck just wrapping bread around a hook, throw a couple splitshots on there and away ya go!!! I use white bread for carp, whole wheat works good too and you'll get the odd catfish using whole wheat bread.

Im from London, the Thames in my area anyway is FULL of good size carp.............They put up an amazing fight for sure.

Goodluck man, happy fishing!!

Totally agree, just got back from fishing in the thames, got a 6.3 and 7.1 pound carp using a bread ball on a hook and a weight about 2 ft up the line. Cast it in and wait.
I was surprised as to the fight these fish put up, over all a fun morning of fishing.
