Hello all. I just moved to Oakville and i was wondering if anyone knows if 16 mile creek has a decent salmon run? I know Bronte does but i live right close to 16 mile and i haven't seen any salmon as yet. Tight lines.

Best way to find out for sure is to take a walk down and see for yourself.

Absolutely, I'm happy to get up early, find a sitter for my son, let my wife take a taxi to work, jump in my car and make the drive from Hamilton to spend some hours scouting the water for you!!

Hey redmen. I'm a recent transplant to Oakville too. I live right beside the Bronte Harbour and let's just say there's no mystery there. Not sure what is going on with 16 mile creek though. If you're ever on my side, find the the chap with the white-blue hat and black hooded sweater and say hello.
