It has been years since I fished Grenadier pond. But when I did I used a 3" rapala perch. This lure outfished any other. I cast at an angle from the bank and had it swim next to the rocky banks and did really well catching large mouth bass. Nothing massive but some nice fish. Also, skipping frog and mice lures over groups of lilly pads worked really well too. I have caught bass, perch, sunfish, crappy, catfish and pike in this lake. I have also seen carp get pulled out of there. A lot of people may look down on this lake but if you put the time in to know the good holes there are some nice fish to be caught. A PB for me there was a 5lb large mouth. I used a Rapala orange floating articulated lure that I slow retrieved on the edge of some lilly pads and it smashed that lure so hard on the surface that I was startled!

Norton place park. Let me know if there's still tons of geese crap everywhere when you go.
