Looking to head out somewhere we can hook into a salmon (or others), not go out too late/early and bring along the wife and kids to enjoy as well. Does anyone recommend any places that are decently accessible, and family friendly?
Thanks,

There are very few family friendly places to fish salmon. There are yahoos everywhere. I fish off piers and everyone curses like a sailor. I thought about bringing my son down and decided against it. I am not a prude, but it surprises me that when there are hordes of people around and people catch a big salmon they have to say Holy F**K repeatedly when there are kids of all ages looking to witness the mayhem..

Thanks,

Go and check the credit river at erindale. Easy access and the kids can always play while in the park if the fishing is slow. Even sailors would be mindful of their language if they see children around.. If not, kindly remind them.
