Indeed. I was born and raised the first 25 years in NB. I have great memories of fishing in NB.

I have great memories of trying to find public water...trying to help with salmon restoration while the number of grilse taken from the river was astronomical and a detriment to the potential return of multi-winter fish...

When u guys prepare your perch do u fillet it or scale ? What do u find works best if your gonna batter it ?

I've only caught and eaten perch once with my grandfather and his friend. They fillet them and them battered them.

I even tried another method and like it but discourage anyone from performing on life fish.

Saw this before. I would not even think about performing any cleaning action on a live fish.

Tried this, definatley takes sime practice. Ended up fileting the rest.
