Good store from my experience. Great prices and they have sales often. Decent customer service.

Ive had good and bad experiences there. The first time I went to the one in Oakville I talked to a guy who was great and wanted to tell me every single thing he knew about Bronte. Nice and friendly guy and knowledgeable as well. Then I went this past Sunday on my way back from a day of fishing. I asked a guy if they had any of the bulk spools of the 8lb Raven mainline in the back since there was none on the shelves. He didnt even know what I was talking about so I went and showed him and he quickly said everything we have is on the shelves...I could tell it was complete BS and he just didnt want to help out for whatever reason.

They are a big box store so its all about luck of the draw I guess. I like supporting the small guys but alot of this time the price difference is just too much to slow down. I make a point of spreading my purchases between the small and the big guys. Its important to remember that if we all switch to these big box stores that are in the big cities than we will start to see less and less of the small stores close to home. Then when you need to stop by the local store to buy some worms and hooks on your way out to the local river you will be SOL!

I've been in the Vaughn location a few times. Nice to have a Canadian player in the big chain stores, but the prices were about the same as BP and Cabela's selling the same chinese junk. Some of the clothes and footwear selections were interesting. I prefer LeBaron's myself.
