Just stay in the bay, fish with crankbaits, texas rigged plastic worms, and tube jigs. There is lots of bass in there so you'll catch some nice fish.

Catfish

P.S. make sure you fish beside and in weed beds otherwise you might not even get a bite. (Smiles)

Just got back from Long Pt. 3/12 hrs fishing didn't start till l1:30 am used park launch other launch I looked at would take a 4/4 pu to launch not a dodge mini van. Good ramp water real shallow. No luck shallows are real shallow couldn't get to reeds 2 small strikes on topwater frog no hookups. Went out to bouy 5 other boats (perching ) they weren't getting much. Tried every colour crank / spinners etc in 10' water no strikes. oh well great time on water that's why they call it fishing not catching. Next time.
