Had a pretty sweet day yesterday at one of my fav Ontario tribs, had plans to fish there in the morning and move to a quiet place in the early afternoon to finish out but as my Grandpa always said " never leave fish to find fish" so i stuck around and glad i did . Started out great, landed "pic 5 fish on first drift" , fish crushed my bait at dawn " pretty sure they couldnt see me yet" and they were very active! about 30 mins later landed this "nice hen pic 1 " took a small jar full of eggs since she was a loosey goosey and sent her on her way got another about an hr later that looked the same as the first so didnt bother taking a pic lol.. Moved to a different spot and hooked into the "biggest fish of the yr for me pic 2 and 3" i wish i had a scale/ measuring tape with me but this fish was massive, could get half my hand around the tail section and he was 25lbs+ all day everyday but cant be sure how big he was im guessing 26-30ish but i dont really know, i think it could be even more then 30 " love to hear what you all think on size ", anyways that fished wiped me out big time and took a few more drifts and got one last little fish.." pics 4 and 6" the buddy i was fishing near was 100% it was a rainbow however i thought it was a small coho eitherway i let um go like all my fish , had an amazing day and cant wait to go back!!!
