This week and a bit has been amazing to say the least, it started off last week when I met up with notta steeler and manged to hook into some chrome but sadly lost both.
Last Saturday me and a buddy ventured out looking for fish, ended up getting some fresh chinny's in the morning and hit a pile of chrome in the afternoon.
Sunday night I took my girlfriend to the spot we were hitting them, and she gladly outfished me, and is still bragging about it, she managed to land 4 before dark and I got one little shaker and the nastiest buck chin dog to ever come from any lake.
Wednesday night I went again, hit a number of beauty's, but losing more then I landed, these fish are so full of piss and vinegar right now, 2 pounders feel like tanks and are out of the water more then they're in.
Friday was my best day, landing 9 fish and losing 4, I also
Lost probably my PB Georgian chromer.
This Saturday I decided to bring my camera along, but only managed to land 2 little guys, go figure.
Today was a long one, it seemed like the bight was just off completely, out of the six guys fishing one pool this morning, 4 fish were landed and 2 by my stick, I came to the conclusion fish had moved up.
Everywhere I went today it was packed with vehicles, so i decided to go on tour and find some new spots, ended up stumbling on some serious wintering pools, but only one steely landed, went down stream to a spot that has proven itself on several occasions. Hit 2 more.
Wow. 100% fish landed today! But man did I have to work for them. Here's some pics.
The strange part about this pic is I took it in the middle of the day, but for some reason it turned out like this?
I really like how that one turned out.
Still some fresh chinny's coming up.
