My reel has gotten a lot louder and it does not throw as far as it used to. I figured I would re-oil it so I took off the handle, stardrag, tension knob and all the screws. However the cover does not want to come off. I can only pry the cover about 4mm.
How should I clean/oil the reel? Can I use wd-40?
Any help is appreciated.
