Finally some Steel

i had a blast at the geen on saturday! only 4 hrs of fishing landed 12/17..
first time even getting the steel feel on the geen!!

thanks, i too got a new set up, new R-type rapla 13 foot rod with float reel, my 12 foot was starting to crack that day in the handle!Wow. Great job up there!! I can't wait until I get time to head up there again With a new setup

Looks like a croaker to me, which is a domestic strain rainbow which escapes from commercial fish farms around Manitoulin Island.you had a great 4 hours i think. What a short head on that first fish. I wonder if it's just a different strain of rainbow?
