definitely no naming rivers.  also, unless you're keeping the fish, try to keep fingers out of the gills

I don't see any evidence of someone holding a fish by the gills.

 

Gill plate is fine folks.

 

Some in the past have acted like posting a pic of a fish that isn't being babied is a crime. If you're that sensitive to it, you shouldn't be a fisherman. Just sayin'.

 

Nice steel Tyler, I'm jealous of the clean water there, if I caught one there I'd be keeping it too. Also gotta give you props for not extending your arms and doing the hero pose! :lol:

A very nice bright hen! Here we would just call it a huron trib, naming the town where the estuary Is essentially gives it away. If anyone is thinking of making the drive up here the river is still almost entirely locked up and the fishing to this point has been very slow.
