Got this colored up buck yesterday (Im going with buck - shoulders on this fish were insane and it did the non-stop dive of death when it was time to come in - despite a lack of kype). Brute.

I must say, I was a bit perplexed in finding a fish this colored up already..? Can anyone make sense of this other than it ran early/mid salmon run and been doggin it on the hot trib for a month already? (east trib)

got into some decent fish on the weekend. skunked saturday morning but more than made up for it in a couple of hours monday morning. a few of the usual spots were jam packed with guys but went to a favourite hole of mine that usually remains unfished. this was the biggest of the day, fought like an absolute tank so i was a little surprised when i pulled in this ~5lber

i'd say it's about half in the water and half in the mud haha. i beat that thing like it owes me money. some sand/mud grit gets into the reel regularly and it starts to seize and i just dunk it in the water and shake it around and it's good as new again.

Yathe bad feelings go away though. My riv is sandy and all the anodizing is gone on theinside edge of the spool thats at the gap. Sand blows in when its windy (and with rough treatment)
