more! my heavens SR. Sweet! I am in the process of buying a car right now... if I had it now id rip down and angle them with ya. maybe one day next week? PM me if youre free.

 

Having just landed my first fulltime job, starting next week... I figured I;d jump in one of my favorite spots to angle the steel. I don't get there enough because its an hour away.. anyways, I went in way up in it, straight up thinking it would just be me and the birds, and a chub from here to there.. just wanted to get out for some peace and quiet.. and I hit a steel that went CRAZY! it was like it was February again. Ended up being just a small 3-4lb female, but holy smokes. Brutal picture, but it felt ultimate hooking up this late in May. Revived no problem to swim on another day.

I had couple of those last Thursday afternoon. Stopped after work just to enjoy some nature and boom. Those shakers are good fighters

and yes GT the steel right now are lake ready, so anything you get is going to fight like a demon, had a 5lber on sunday that took me for a 50yrd run before popping the hook

One of the fish that i got was 4lb but it was running upstream like crazy i could not see it in the beginning i thought i had 10lber LOL

i imagine with these rainstorms the last week, that pushed a lot out. Ultra slim pickings from here, im done. Whirlpool time for me to try to find some more lakers this weekend

yea........nice fish wes shaw, those probably should have been released to grow larger.   fish on stringer shots don't really sit too well around here

well i rarely  fish it and i know its not heavely fished and i dont keep anything i dont intend to eat  so ... ya  just sayin

its not the matter of keeping fish, its your right to keep 2, its just the size and the stringer in the picture that hits a sore spot with the people around here, just keep that in mind for next time
