7lb chrome coho last night off a pier! (I know it looks like a bow in this pic, its not)

It does look like a bow....I thought cohos had black mouths still really nice fish

Cohos have black mouths like chinooks but have pink gums whereas the chinook has black mouths and black gums. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry bout the blood coming out of the coho. I'd like to lie and say that fish went back and lived happily ever after, but the truth is we ended up putting 6 in the cooler, the cohos were sucking down hucho's like they were candy. Even though I don't trust lake O fish to eat a buddy of ours does and smoked them up. If anyone is interested In going out on a charter boat, look up "chasin' tails" charters out of port hope area. This guy will probably put you on more fish then you have ever seen. This is our counter of hook ups for the day, believe it or not, we put over 35 fish in the boat.
