So I was doing some top water night fishing for largemouth. Hear something smash my lure, set the hook into it and immediately it starts peeling drag. At first I thought it was a huge bass (which I was hoping for), but as I got it closer it was a nice surprise.
Not huge, but got my PB walleye...on top water hula popper.

I can't believe the markings in these bows you get. So frekled, and red.
Are they resident or are these sea-run fish?
Can also say I've never seen that micro-brew in Ontario, I'd be all over that.
Keep'em coming.
These are resident native rainbows, they are not ocean run. I couldn't believe the many color variations of fish within thesame river. Some were chrome, many spotted, and others with such intense red markings on them. It's sure fun catching the many color variations. This beer is brewed in Montana. They carry it here in AK I had to pick some up for this outing....

CJR that walleye is amazing - can't believe it was top-water!
