I was at a creek near my inlaws house this past weekend enjoying the great fall weather and watched some cohos spawning. It was interesting to see the cohos fanning their redds and watching as three or four rainbows swarmed to try and eat loose eggs. Better than TV I tell you.

Those are all coho. When in spawning colors they are red with black heads. Wicked kypes on them too

I would have thought those were sockeye for sure. Your coho's are alot different than the freshwater ones we get here.
