darn this weekend is the "weekend of all birthdays" for my family but I would love to go out camping by a river or something one weekend if anyone is down for that. I did my first semi major excursion with gear and a buddy this year and loved it.

Need to put that tent/boots/pack to good use.

Let me know if you ever want to head out in the future.

Awesome plan, too bad all my gear is in storage. It's a great way to learn how to camp and fish in the cold. I'd be in for next year when I get all my gear back.

Schnip some details not all, but more would attract more members.

1. Drive, canoe, hike into spot?
2. Lake/river fishing, target species (gear needed). Hunting; game big small.
3. General location.

Really wish I could join this time.

Thanks for setting it up tho, have a safe and great time.

right at the trailhead where you can canoe from or hike from there is a parking lot which is empty this time of year--it holds 30 cars---its an old decommissioned lot for carpooling off the 400 or something--the town even plows it in the winter---it is solely used for the lake as in the summer inner city youht go there with cops to see nature and camp...anyway the motorhome would fit--but i will be hiking in to the regular place i camp---huge cliffs beautiful scenery as wellppif you have the right gear and a candle in you tent its actually quit comfortable--but if its not your thig you will hate it...i have been in a blizzard at 1000 plus feet higher than i should be at -18 it all works out....lol

That's close enough for me to do as a day trip. If it's not too windy and I had a partner I could canoe in I have difficulty picturing how you would fish McCrae from the shore..

I have 100 acres of land about 45 mins from dennys dam, its near hanover. plenty of room for cars and we can carpool to the fishing holes, there are also a handfull of pothole lakes very close to the property with bass pike and perch and theres a stocked trout pond (free) thats open all year 10k from the campsite. All i ask is respect of the land

I can partner with you when needed, been a few years since Ive been in one ( just like falling off a log (or canoe)) LOL

I'm not good at clambering and climbing obstacles and distances or I end up in pain but as long as I know the terrain it's manageable
