I have 100 acres of land about 45 mins from dennys dam, its near hanover. plenty of room for cars and we can carpool to the fishing holes, there are also a handfull of pothole lakes very close to the property with bass pike and perch and theres a stocked trout pond (free) thats open all year 10k from the campsite. All i ask is respect of the land

everyone needs to confirm the actually overnight date we caqn do this--as far as location i am cool with the 100 acres--we carry out what we bring in--no mess--bring your own food and drink if someone has stove and stuff ---i have expedition stuff not for large group but i will share what i have.

Last weekend in November was a good idea. Call me crazy but I have slept in my summer tent in mid January. I find aslong as you can cut out the wind and rain/snow and have a sleeping bag rated for -30/40 your fine. That and a couple shots of Canadian Club lol. And a tent heater aswell. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Best sleep ever!

cool man--i have a candle i use in my MSR expedition tent but i also have a very heavy duty eureka 4 man that is good for cold --just weighs a ton --i would carry it--lol but i have a -35 bag boiled water bottle between my legs and a candle--its toasty and ya you sleep like a baby---last weekend in november is a go as far as i am concerned

anyone wanna add thier names and we can hi the 100 acre ranch? lol
fishing, food, a couple drinks a good cigar and not working---umm this is a sure thing baby

When I did it we were up north near Bancroft on a lake full of specs. One way in in way out. We were ice fishing all weekend. Our campfire out on the ice and bottle of Ameretto. Best time camping ever!

does the weekend of the 17th work for you guys? If not the end of the month works but my buddy who wants to come can only make it on the 17th lol If theres no snow and its not too wet everyone will be able to get there cars to the campsite, if the roads washed out I can always shuttle gear and people in my truck. If anyone has a genny that would be great! For anyone thinking of bringing their spouses, there is no power or running water so make sure their ok with that we dont wanna hear any whining There is an outhouse its very clean we build a new one every 10 or so years.
