NOW that is angling brother--I know it ain't the numbers you would otherwise get on the pin, but friggin KUDOS to you for keeping the faith!!
Must feel like a real accomplishment...you have fooled mother nature, not just thrown some bait in the water or put out a bushel of apples for some stupid deer.

I can still remember the feeling though, I would say something like this. “No way am I putting that fish back in the water to clean it before I get a picture taken!” I would be too worried about losing it! lol

that still happens to me lol. i landed a nicely coloured 6 pounder on the weekend, went to clean it off in the water for a pic, lost my grip on its tail and goodbye fish. it was the only one of any size that day, so i was kicking myself all night. i lose sleep over not getting good pictures with my fish LOL. i'm turning into a "make sure you get close enough to get the bead in it's mouth!" kinda guy hahahaha
