Wish I saw this yesterday. I went fishing today for some carp. I went down to the York st bridge and pier 4 by williams coffee shop. I made some dough bait that hammer shared in another post. It would of been a great bait but Mine didn't turn out as well as the one in the video. Wold these same falls tactics work for early spring? And what would that object be called that he packs the bait into?

Hello

The object is a weighted feeder. It's purpose is demonstrated in the video. Yes you could use the same tactics that he is using only as the weather and water temperature warms you could put more chum/bait out .

i was out carpin today in cambridge! the rivers was nice and clear, (speed river) had a nice one on but my hooked snapped.

i thought last years hair rigs would be okay, but it seems the hook  rusted under the rigging.

note to self, new year of fishing means new tackle should be used as well. not rusty hooks that break under stress... :(
