Steel

Headed out to my favourite local river to try some steelhead/brown fishing for the first time this fall. The river gets very small runs but having great luck last spring I thought I would head out and put in some legwork to try to get into some steel. Started out with the fly rod, but after an hour or so with no luck, I switched to the spinning rod. Fished for about four hours, water conditions were great, but the fishing was slow....but still ended up going 1/1 with a nice hen that put up a great fight!
