Finally, after so many attempts over many years. With encouragement from a fellow skilled member I was able to get my first. This one hit just as my bait sank, all I saw was my float dissapear, that's when I set the hook. The fight was on, it's not a huge one, surprisingly one 1 1/2 lbs and about 20 inches. It went airborne 3 times, dove into the rocks, dove back into it's dark lair; it made many attempts escape. Landing it was the most difficult part, as I was on one side and Madriver and Schnip were on the other with the net......lol. The fish then swam towards Madriver who was now up to his chest in the water. I held my rod by the butt to keep from tangling on him and he ducked down only to take water into his waders. Inspite of being wet he was able to net it. Now I had to get over to the other side and thank Schinp and especially Madriver. I fell on my ass going down the bank.......lol. Excited and full of regret that Mad was now wet and cold. So this fish was a real team effort. The worst is that Madriverfisher's iphone got wet and stopped working. I hope it will dry out ok. A huge thanks to you for netting my first bow.

I hope this works, Photobucket seems to have changed.

It's great to meet up and spend quality time with gentlemen who are true sportsmen as I have had that pleasure today.

Thanks again guys.

Yeah, Buck, they are really good fighters and acrobats. I got him on spinning, now to get one on a fly....lol. I think I'll need alot of luck for that.....lol.

OCD keep trying. I did not expect anything to hit so it came as a surprise and kind of a shock......lol.

Thanks guys.

I still feel guilty for Madriverfisher's phone......lol.
Lesson here is to always bring extra clothes and bag your electronics. Fortunately he had a change of clothes in his car.

Congrats on ur first...
I soaked my phone a few months ago...If its not too bad, put it in a bowl of rice and leave for a few days...That should get all the moisture out...
I hope you guys took out the battery when it got wet...
