Thanks guys. Next challenge is to get one on the fly. I think that will be alot harder. I'd better bag my own phone, just in case......lol.
Flies were everywhere today and the trout were very active along the surface..today would have been a great day for fly action!

Now for the bad news, you’re now a chrome addict and will need weekly doses…If that does not work then you’ll have to up the dosage to daily fixes…. see yeah on Sunday at Bronte…

Not nearly as big as yours, Devin's or Luke's. But it was a great fighting and eating size.....lol. It was a hungry little pig. I learned alot just from watching you guys nailing them but especially from what Luke told me. I'm a quick learner.......lol.
I still don't understand how that guy that waded into the pool we were at, how did he get a fish on so quick when we had been drifting for almost an hour? Was he flossing with his float? He had a slight advantage wading but you Devin, Luke and I were casting into the exact same spot. I'm addicted and confused at the same time......lol.

Sometimes it’s just luck and other times the presentation or different bait...It’s highly possible that because he was up at the head of the pool his presentation had enough sink time to present itself in a manner we were not achieving.. Who knows, you just have to keep hammering until one decides to get pissed and hit your bait…Anyways, each time you get one on note how you did it and always try to replicate that cast/drift… that’s the best way to improve and learn about the elusive steelie…important to note weather and water conditions as well for future outings…

Also- I have dunked my fair share of phones (3) and cameras. I salvaged a digitial camera by leaving it in rice. Took a while but it is working fine now.
