No strike indicator, I had two split shots on the leader to get the egg pattern down.


I think I need to put the indicator away for a while, and do the same. Makes controlling a drift difficult for me.

Not a big trout expert but getting the most natural drift is best, even if it means ditching the indicator.

Beautiful brown. I change my setup for the type of water I am fishing. I fished the Situk river this last May in record flood waters. The water was a little murky but the current was fast. I had 25lb Maxima leader and 15lb Maxima tippet. The fish were large and the current fast so you needed something a little tough.
