I had a big angry chinny knock me off my feet, although it was august, and i was in swim shorts and flip flops, I wasn't too thrilled about rolling around in decaying fish... Yuk!

Eww

I was fighting a fish this season and stepped back onto an old bloated salmon... it made a hilarious splurting sound as I wondered aloud "what the f....?".

Then the stench hit me.

*shudders*

lol I was kneeling down to grab a fish this year and my knee went right through a huge decaying salmon that I didn't see.

If anyone remembers the big tree that had fallen in the creek at the end of the slaughter pool, in August 2010 I was fishing from it because I didn't have waders, there was a half dozen or more dead salmon surrounding it. I slipped off the log and one of my legs fell straight into some dead salmon. Needless to say those Saucony's had to be discarded.
