As for my stratic 4000 FJ (I love this reel) the nut came loose under the spool..
Left handed thread and i used locktite ..tightened and fixed!!

I literally just sent my stradic in for repair today, now all I've been thinking of is mepps and little raps in big pools.

I was throwing flatfish with my pin today in the low water for the first time, it's pretty easy to get used to with the right drift. Got 2 today here's the bigger of the 2 minus the background

Yup always keep a couple spinners on me. It's tougher retrieving a spinner on a CP with an 11ft noodle. But I imagine its a lot more feasible on something shorter and stiffer
