Meet up with Mike from fishheads.
At sun up we meet at a GB trib. It was a little slow before things warmed up. Good thing I had my trusty backpack (if you've fished with me you know what I mean :) )
And then all of a sudden my float goes down
After a brief but great little battle

My first steel on the pin

About an hour later and working our way downstream my float goes under 5 feet out from me. poop a snag. Nope I yell to Mike fish on. Now this was a battle. A solid ten min fight and this thing is still going. Finally manage to guide it to shore were Mike has somehow found a spot to land the fish.

My biggest steel to date. Now I'm pumped.
So after releasing her I re rig up and about 10 min later float bobs. I think huh. Haven't hit bottom yet. Giver a little set. Hmm. It's not coming up. And then the torpedo takes off. What a fight. This fish burned me out. He liked the bottom and didn't want to come up. But again Mike grabs the fish and hauls him in

What a great 4 hours on the water. Broke my pin cherry in all ways today
And every fish was caught on Fishheads salmon roe
Thanks Mike for a great day out

Dude nice catches. What's in Mike's roe? Some kinda secret ingredient, like KFC seasoning?.......lol. You had them dialed in for a hit.

Congrats buddy. Hope to see you Sat.
