limit is 5 sportfishing, 2 conservation for 2012, Jan 1, 2013 it changes 2 sportfishing, 1 conservation. Brown trout remains unchanges, although i personally wish it was as well.

It's 5 in the lake for sport fishing and 2 for conservation.

In the tributaries the limit is 2 for the sport fishing license and 1 for conservation.

Conservation=less fish, hense the conservation part..5 for sport 2 for conservation(in lake)
2 for sport 1 for conservation(in rivers). And on January 1st,2013 the limit in the lake changes to the same in rivers (2/1).

Funny how people misinterpret the response and read several variables beyond variables into what was said.

Nice fish!! Congrats!

Hey guys----he's just a young fella making his first post here. Cut him a bit of slack, willya?? There were obviously at least 1 other guy fishing with him. Everything looks quite legal. Sure, it's best not to keep very many fish, but C & R is not the be all and end all either if you do it to a dozen or so fish a day.

well my friend---great fish--you look like you got the nack for cahtching them , you have now learned two things--from this innocent post of some fish you caught
1-the boys in here will help at any given chance and its a great forum...
2-never post pics of your fish on here unless you have one hand under the "chin" behind the gills and the other carefully holding the tail, backround blurred and an egg timer showing how long they have been sans water...in here steelies should be next in line to go on our currency so be careful--a fun day of fishing you might want to share with an otherwise calm crowd can turn into a PETA protest outside your door. nice fish brother and if you want to take some home its waaaaaaaaay better than those shitheads that net them, gut them for egss, wack em with sticks and leave thier carcasses on the shore for everyone esle to enjoy the smell....hope they tasted good.

Just stating that you said conservation= more fish witch is wrong, didnt think people should be mislead.

there are actually a few rivers with a 5 bow limit which I just found out the other day. Pretty dumb if you ask me but the regs are the regs.

Great fish bud but next time just take em off the stringer and snap a pic so we have no idea they were ever on the stringer lol. And even if fishing a 5 fish limit stretch ya might as well keep it at 2 or below but as CJR said his buddy probably had 1 or 2 fish on there too.
