Float-11g Raven fixed
Bait-White/Grey blood hook jig head tipped with Berkley Gulp Alive smelt pattern

The rods great man, I like a bit more backbone in my rods. Makes it so I can still chuck hardware with it.

So far so good, casting distance is crazy far when I was chuckin spoons. And went the whole day without a single line twist. Every snag broke off at the leader, saving my setup. It was made for spinning reels. I was running it throught iced up guides all day and it never fraid or anything. It is kinda pricey at 18$ for 150yrds, but I never cheap out when it comes to my line.

I've heard that ice & nanofil don't get along very well.

You don't have any issues tho?

I caught my fish late in the day after my line had been run through iced up guides all day long. I never had a problem. I just went and took a better look and its definatly beat up but no frays or anything

How has niagra been? Looks like it has been good to me. It's not frozen yet is it? I went out to a few tribs around the GTA and everything is pretty frozen already. This is crazy early from what I can recall from the last couple years

Niagra has been alright. I don't think Niagra freezes completely over, not where we fish amyways.
