What or where is on anyone's bucket list as far as fishing is concerned. I would like to fly fish in the ancestral home, Scotland, Montana,Idaho and B.C. also come to mind. How about Iceland for Atlantics or closer to home the Albany for brookies.New Zealand for giant browns. Ahh, if only I could afford any of those trips...

jurassic lake......google it, is one

theres also a river in the yukon that has giant sockeye salmon runs, where the average size of the salmon is 35-75lbs in this river, the salmon apparently come from the north sea where they feed on squid and herring

You guys have named some great places here I'd like to add to my list. Alaska, Taiman fishing, Browns and Rainbows I hear in Patagonia.
I can't really put this on my bucket list as I've been there a few times, but if anyone wants to add a place to theirs, Newfoundland and Labrador. There's some great runs of Atlantics that jump and fight like a fish possessed. And the Specks out there can get pretty big, up to 10 lbs. We fling mouse patterns for them :) They also have sea-run Specks, much like the " Coasters" that run from Superior into the Nipigon. The Newfies use the same term, Coasters actually.
Thanks to SmackUm the Ouimet Canyon has been added to my bucket list after reading his thread and seeing the pics he posted earlier this year. Seems like it would be a wonderful adventure.

Alfie.

That is something I haven't done yet. I have got a few mouse patterns but haven't thrown them yet. The rivers in the Matanuska Valley is the place to try it. That is my goal this year, to catch a bow on a mouse pattern. :)
