HELL NO, worst day ever. high, muddy/milky and faster. there was a myth of someone landing one. the other 18 fishermen i saw caught ZIP. my partner had one, kind of, was not even a hook set, after 8 hours just before we left. I know hopeless, but once you cast you can't stop being hopeful LOL.

I guess the only ones who appreciate the warm spell are steelheaders. The ice anglers had a rough day too, at least 7 did.

I was the guy fishing with Klik and his description was bang on. Still...it was good to get out hob knob with fellow steelheaders. As far as the conditions were concerned.... cant win them all! The best is yet to come.

I was out for about 5 hours today and I didn't get a sniff, but the guy fishing directly across the river from me hit one...had it on for a few minutes with some nice surface splashes, but it broke off. Looked pretty "chromey" to me!

Have not fished for about two weeks, high fever, shivering, and I need my medication, woke up at 4:30 to go get my medication, and It's raining. Darn, it seems I need to wait another week before I can get my drug. Any one as frustrated as me?

It looks that conditions are going to be same or even worst today, after all that hard rain this morning.

If you think yesterday was bad...today was even worse. Eastern trib...It was blown. Only a few anglers...Murky water. Called it a day after only an hour. No hook ups. Lot's of log and branch action.

That happened to me yesterday, float went down like a trout hit, i set the hook, it start pulling, i got all excited, was pulling nicely for about 10 seconds, then started fighting like a carp, and just pulling against current, so i was cranking the float reel and fighting. then about 20 feet near me, i found it it was a big branch!!

IF i find a partner, i really want to go this Wednesday. weather permitting.
