FATAL ICE ACCIDENT
A 19 year old man has died after going through the ice in Penetanguishene Bay early this morning. He was reported missing after he failed to meet up with friends at 2am. Personal items were noticed beside a hole in the ice by the OPP helicopter. His body has been recovered, and the coroner is on scene now. We will have more on this story as details become available.

In the reports I've seen nothing to indicate it was fishing related. 2 am?Sad news for the fishing community.

His friends were meeting up with him to fish. When they got there the found his gear and hole in the ice, word on the street..In the reports I've seen nothing to indicate it was fishing related. 2 am?
Still all the same it is sad news.

Possible but doubtful. A bunch of young guys meeting up at that time to fish.His friends were meeting up with him to fish. When they got there the found his gear and hole in the ice, word on the street..
Went missing at 2 am but reported at 7 am?????
