Lake simco ice??

Hows the ice on lake simco thinking of going next sunday will it hold a quad??

simcoe is a big lake. not all is frozen, and no you cannot take quad yet.

there have been some guys with bikes out in the port bolster and virginia beach areas. your best bet would be to contact an operator in the area you plan to fish. if you are unfamiliar with the lake i would hesitate to take the machine as it is only safe ice (no ice is safe!!!!) in a few small areas

If you really wanted to go then you'd better check with the locals. Depends on where you go, some area have thicker ice and some with 1.5" to 2" of not so black ice. Remember: No fish is worth the embarrassment of some FD fishing you out.

I was out on wed for jumbos off vb an there was. Around 6 inches but 2 black ice 4 of white ice.
