Both these shows are coming up ... Toronto Sportsman Show is next week and the Toronto fishing/boat show is the week after...
TSS early bird tickets online are 16 dollars each. vs. Toronto Fishing Boat show which is 15 w/ additional 2 dollars off.

I have never been to either... i will mainly be going for fishing and boating. however, i don't want to go to both.
To those that have went before.. which one would you recommend and why?

well they will have most of their good at the sportsmen show. mind you not all stores go to both. i would go to sportsmen show personally.

TO sportsmen's show is much larger...

usually fishing show had more gear, but sportsmen show was always 5 weeks or so after. this year it is first. so their stock should be good. doubt too many discounts though. they still have fisherman show week after that they could still make money.

sounds right still as a fisherman i allways some how buy new things even if i dont need it i have a problem lol....

Was at the show today. was struck by how much it seems to have shrunk from years gone by- heard many comments from experienced guys saying how relatively few vendors, lodges etc there this year.. I was quite diappointed and hope the fishing show has more to offer.

I just came from it, it was not as busy as weekend i guess. it was not half bad. didn't find things i wanted. but i saw lot of good discounts on rods and reels.and awesome new gear.
