A jig I tied
#1

I used the varnish I had left and if was kinda old so it dried funny. Oh well, I the fish won't mind.
Materials:
White Bucktail
Black Bucktail
Black Chenille
Jig head
Thread - I used black
If it looks a little beat up, it's because I took it out pike fishing along the TO Harbour and think one bite, didn't land it though... Lets see some jigs you guys make.
P.S - I tied up an "ok" popper, I'll post it tomorrow night, right now I have to let it dry before I take the photo.

That's sweet man, come mid may that thing will have gerry cheevers scars all over it! The black makes the white bucktail and the eyes really stand out.
Thanks man. I love the red eyes!

Nice looking hair jig noob,
Heres a couple ive done.
The picture of the two black jigs are in water, one is a standard jig the other is a special mix to give that undulating flare
Those are really good! I love the special mix one. Really nice.

NIce tie guys. I've never used bucktail jigs so never tied them up. All it would take for me to change my mind is a hit and I'll be tying them up too......lol.
I've never used them until fishing for barracuda in Cancun... I figured pike might like em too! There really easy to tie, you could do it in a few minutes...
Hows your hunt for pike?
