Hey fellow carp anglers. I would like to have a fish-in at the CCIW on May 5. Spread the word. We will probably have a big fish pool . Bring your grills , let's cook up some sausages and burgers and have some fun. 

Here is a Google Earth image showing The CCIW ( Canada Centre for Inland Waters) and some of the popular places to fish carp around the harbour.

 

darn, that's today. My friend backed out of fishing today for some reason.

Wish I had read this last night and I would have joined you Hammer et al. It is a beautiful day so I'm sure you are all having a good time.

Looking forward to the pics, and I have some sausages thawing so I can be with you in spirit and food anyway

I checked out the place today.

 

First I checked to see if the place was compatible with the food.

I also spoke to a nice lady at our local newspaper and they put the event in the Hamilton Spectator.

We will be right here from 8 am to 4 pm. But there is no official start or end time this is an informal get together to fish and have fun.

Just a quick post on the fish in. We had a good time . Only two fish were caught . This was probably due to the late spring and water tempertures being still too cold there. We ate a pile of sausages, enjoyed each others company and everyone went home with a prize.

I fortunately had the opportunity of landing a real monster,  right here in Toronto.
