Great reel the Stradic CI4 2500 is really light compared to my Stradic 2500FJ but the Fj is a smoother reel overall.

why not?? i have a $55 reel on a $750 rod
i say if you like the rod, put whatever reel you like on it, you'll be very happy with a stradic

Funny, rods and reels are sold separately. I need a reel, a more expensive rod may come later... Thanks though

thats like putting $100 laces on $10 dollar shoes
spend your money on a better rod which is going to contribute to catching more fish
_______
in any regard the stradic is a good reel, you can find a lot of good reels at that price point. Have a look at tackletour for reviews

when spin fishing, your reel works the hardest, you need it to stand up to the wear and tear of constant casting and retrieving, it doesn't matter the cost of your outfit, but how it performs and how comfortable you are with it
