Looks like a great deal, are those tubes hollow or solid I can't tell? Kinda want to try some solid ones this year myself...

I'm banking pretty hard on the black w/blue fleck craws and chunks...those look pretty versatile I kinda like them more than the ones I picked up...

Yep you guys are definitely making me want to sign up for this lol, thanks for sharing the pics!

Yea, I'm definitely liking the craws.

The tubes are hollow. I picked up some tubes last year but never got a chance to use them. They were solid though.

What's the best way to rig these tubes?

Yah those craws look great, you could use them as a trailer or a primary bait...the craws I got were longer and slimmer so I got them and had to buy some trailers seperately.

Idonno if I have enough experience with tubes to say which way is best but here are some that have worked for me:

Hollow tubes:

- plain and simple: slide a 60 or 90 degree bend hook through the cavity, play around with it (swimming/jerkbait/deadstick...whatever you like)

- texas rigged wieghtless with an extra wide gap (EWG) hook (swimming slowly/using as a jerk bait)

- texas rigged with an EWG and weighted with a sliding bullet weight (swimming/crashing pads and weed mats)

- insert a tube jig in to the cavity (dragging/swimming/jigging/occasional dead sticking)

I've heard that the solid tubes are better as jerkbaits than the hollow variety though...hope to test that out this year.

I bought some weighted tube jigs to use with the tubes that I bought last year. Didn't think of using the EWG hooks in the tubes. Using the EWG hooks in these hollow tubes might be pretty good. They'll be very lightweight and would skim across the surface, most likely. The ribs on them would cause a lot of vibration and the skirt would give some nice action too. Looking forward to trying them out.

If you're like me you'll burn a tube practicing rigging them with an EWG...

I'd try rigging them the way you like before going out so that you're not wasting any time on the water but maybe I'm just a gimp lol.

I do that to, always have a few T-rigged plastics on hand...

2 hours of work to go. The sun is shining. Long weekend about to start. No LCBO strike... The only thing that could make today any better is if I had a little brown box waiting for me when I got home.

Anyone receive theirs yet?

I was about to ask if you had received yours yet. You seem to get it a day before me. Hopefully mine will be there when I get home later.

Took a long time this month. I guess the long weekend caused a delay with Canada Post.

I follow @mysterytacklebox on instagram and it looks like they've been sending out some cool stuff, or will be in upcoming boxes. Live Target and Rapala lures.
