Good morning OFF,
I plan on heading back home to Georgian Bay for the Walleye and Pike opener but I have never targeted walleye this early in the year.
I know to expect them in shallower water after the spawn and likely troll a worm harness or toss a husky jerk depending on how the fish are feeding. My question is; how will this cold spring affect the depth and location of the Walleye? Will they be staying shallower? Would looking for sand bottoms be more effective?
I would love to open a discussion about how the temps will be changing their habits early in the season.
Thanks in Advance,
Tayjusti
